All of my messing around ended up with some overly complicated html and CSS files, which I have refined. I have tried to make the coding as re-useable as possible so that I limit the number of html, and css files required.

The last several evenings I have reworked the main menu from the last posted version.I could never get the image swaps to be completely smooth, plus it started feeling a little dated.The newly revised home page should render acceptably on at least 800x600 and look even better at higher resolutions.This new version also dynamically sizes the logo and does a few other things on the fly when the window is re-sized.

The-Gryphon.com has been absent from the web for a long time, and I have at last decided on resurrecting it. I posted a temporary placeholder while I reworked the index page.

Even more time has past, I have received my degree and been through a few jobs since then, but have settled into a job with Northrop Grumman.I am finishing what I had started with updating my web page, back in DeVry.My vision for what I had wanted to do had not changed, but I have finally found the java scripts that allow me to do what I had origionally envisioned this site should look like when I had laid the plans in DeVry.I hope you all like the new look and feel of the site.I for one could not be happier at its new appearance.

A lot more time has past, I have started and nearly finished going my BS Degree DeVry University, and now that I am taking a Web Development course, I figured it is a good time to start updating, revising and reposting my web page after a long absence.

Let's see what's all changed...I've added my resume finally as promised, also new to the site is the Bio, changed the way that Finished model cars are displayed, but I am thinking about changing it again.I don't quite like the way it looks right now.  Since I posted the model cars last I have built some more cars that will be added in the near future.The list of cars I have in my inventory will be changing along with what cars I am still looking for. Also soon I'll be adding a page on describing what a Gryphon is and why I chose the site name The-Gryphon.com . Also I want to update the Photo Album, it's been quite some time since any pictures have been added (2001 are the latest pics??? Well I will be adding some new pics soon hopefully).

It's been a long time since this site has been updated, or to be found on the web for that matter.It's back with a new face lift, a model car section added and not much else new.The site is now being hosted on a different site with more room for expansion in the future.I tried to make the interface a little more intuitive and user friendly.I cheated this time, instead of typing out all the code I let MS Front Page do it.I know it's quick and dirty, I am a lazy bastard (I don't go out of my way to do things the hard way when I know I can do things faster, easier and just as good).

Just fixed some broken links, I forgot that Geocities uses Unix / Linix servers and that they are case sensitive.

It's been more then a year now, and I have finally decided to get back to updating my site.I have not decided if I will keep the old layout yet or not. I am currently trying out MS FrontPage to build my site.

I figured out a way of reducing the file sizes of some of the images so that they will load faster. This degrades the picture quality, so I only did it to the mini pics and the logos. Plus I put down what month the pictures were taken in.

In the past couple of days I have re-organized the files in the photo album, and added new pictures. I have also added a guest book and counter back to the page. A new addition is the Web Board, I have also removed the military stuff section.

I have added the logo to the main page, and have modified it a little, for the time being you can find all the links on the left sidebar, and a few at the bottom of the page.

I have recently finished my CDC's and now I will focus on revising the site, Today I finished editing the main logo of this page. The Gryphon was drawn by Van Nguign, and I edited the picture to add the Mountain range and the name of the site. I am also currently learning Flash, so look for Flash stuff to be added in the near future.

When I got the page working yesterday, I found out some pages had to many frames therefore loaded really slow. Today I replaced some of the frames with Tables, in other words before instead of seeing 5 to 6 pages at the same time you now only see 2 (3 if you count the advertisement added by Geocities). Then I also deleted some old links that serve no purpose anymore.

I encountered some new problems when trying to upload this new version of my page, my connection is very reliable plus the ftp program crashes allot, then there was some problem on Geocities.com, what ever the problem was it seems to work OK for now, but I really need to move my web page to a different server (preferably my own). I am currently trying to make a new graphic for the main page, but I have not made any significant progress yet, plus I want to go back through the pages and fix some minor mistakes that I have made.

Still working on adding more frames, but today I am also going through many of the pages that have been neglected in the past. I used a Photo editing program to clean up some of the pictures.

I bought the Domain name The-Gryphon.com so from now on that is all you have to type to get to my page. I have been working on adding more frames (multiple files displayed at the same time) for easier navigation, and added new backgrounds that fade between the sidebar and the main page.

I am sorry that I haven't fixed my site earlier, today I took me almost half an hour to figure out what the problem was with my site. Some of you may have noticed that the main picture was not displayed and most of the links where broken. This was because when I posted the site it was not case sensitive. I did a bit of sloppy code when I was revamped the site. I did not go through and double check if the casing matched everywhere. But it did work at the time I posted it and for a while after. I have started to go through and correct the links. Please let me know of any broken links.

Well it's 4 in the morning, I've finished spell-checking most of the pages. I don't think I like the Yellow link links, but I am tired so I'm not gonna **** with it any more tonight. But I will send a massive email to let yall know it be here finally!

Today I have made a minor change to the main menu, before today the picture of me was the same except no blue background and no clouds. I am also currently going through and spell-checking all the pages. I have also made the Back to Main page an image, fixed a broken link, and changed most pages to the same blue background, with white text (I think this will be easier on the eyes with less transitioning from real dark pages to bright ones.

I added cheats for Unreal Tournament, but other then that I seem to be a little stumped on how to renovate the Jokes, Quotes, and other pages. Any ideas? Questions? Comments? Email me your thoughts.

This past month I have been working hard to rebuild my site from the ground up, you may see a more professional look and feel. As of today the main page is the one that has received a complete makeover. I have also added a troubleshooting page, and added password protection to access the jokes section of my page. To ease your mind filthy jokes will only be accessible with the correct user name and password. The files will be stored on a separate website so even FTP will make it nearly impossible to find the site since the user name, link, and password, are all encrypted. I also added this log today.



Long ago on a server far, far away....
I first created a web page consisting of one page a few links and one image. That site may still exist somewhere on some poor forgotten server. Years past before I would touch html again, it started out, out of sheer boredom, with many hours to kill. This time around it would have half a dozen pages, a few links and a few images. It then slowly evolved to include more pages, links and images. From there I added images that where links, and pictures. I have also added a small photo album and eventually a German version of this site.
